BA & QA Consultant

As an established banking solutions provider, we are setting up our operations in Bangalore and we’re seeking a Business Analyst with strong analytical, problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills to help us define the future of our technology. You will be an actor in the development and maintenance of Axia our web-based omnichannel, award-winning, turnkey solution for Investment Management.

As a BA & QA Consultant, you are responsible for gathering the business requirements and also executing the manual testing, in collaboration with Software Developers. You will be part of an international team with coworkers in both Greece and Bangalore, shouldering you and helping you take on the challenges of providing world-class solutions to our customers.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works with clients and product owners to ensure the realization of business outcomes in working solutions.
• Write business user stories and development tasks, organizing team documentation, consolidating data to implement technical aspects of a business solution, and creating graphical user interfaces and journeys.
• Identify project/production issues and works with the project team to provide solutions or escalates to avoid project delays.
• Work with product owners and project managers to develop high-quality use-case/test-case requirements that define goals, acceptance criteria, and measurable results.
• Work with the Product Manager to design test cases for CI/CD automation, manual, and non-functional (operations, performance, compliance/security) testing to deliver high-quality products.
• Collaborate across multiple product lines to align test implementation strategies.
• Provide QA sign off on server tool releases, maintain full accountability for all product quality and champion uncompromising quality.
• Lead QA KPIs and retrospectives with Development and Product teams.

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• Proven ability to translate both functional and non-functional requirements and use cases into working test plans and test cases with automation strategy.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• Experience with testing methodologies within Agile, iterative project management with continuous delivery.
• Must be able to work independently demonstrating initiative in finishing their work in a timely and effective manner.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Analysis and Quality Assurance for Investment Software.
• Experience in Investment Software is mandatory.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high fluency in defect tracking.
• Proven BA & QA experience in at least two projects, with Investment Software.
