Information Security Analyst

As an established Fintech setting up operations in Bangalore, we are seeking creative and proactive engineers to help us define the future of our technology. You will be an actor in our mission to turn Our Partner's database into an end-to-end solution for investors and fund managers.

The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for building Our Partner’s expanding global incident response and awareness capability. This involves responding to system alerts for security response, coordinating with IT and management to remediate findings and educating business colleagues on best practice controls for maintaining compliance with SOC. You will be a part of the Infosec Team that will research and report on new threats as they appear in the wild. You will provide global support for security aspects of Data Protection legislation under the direction of VP, Data Privacy.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Event monitoring and tuning / updating signatures where required.
• Responding to Office 365 platform alerts, OSSEC logs, AWS WAF alerts, DLP alerts and reports, Sophos malware alerts, and Mimecast alerts.
• Identify and respond to threats from various sources.
• Conduct local Security Awareness sessions and phishing susceptibility campaigns.
• Collaborate with colleagues to help them build security into their workflows where required.
• Investigate and document security incidents.

Key Requirements for this Role:

• 2+ years experience as an Information security practitioner with hands-on incident response.
• Experience in manipulating and combining data sources to identify key indicators of compromise.
• Proficient in Information Security risk analysis.
• Experience in authoring content for security awareness briefings that is entirely relevant and understandable by each audience.
• Good written skills both in terms of process documentation and management reports.
• Understanding of Amazon Web Services functions and security capabilities
• Knowledge of technical security controls is a major plus.
• Good understanding of SOC2, PCI DSS, ISO27001 security controls and how they can be applied is desirable.
• Ability to communicate security disciplines in a way any person can understand.
