Lead Full Stack Engineer

With plans to invest further in emerging technologies and expand its global reach, the company is offering an exciting opportunity for a Lead Full Stack Engineer to join its growing team. Roles And Responsibilities:

• Manage ongoing projects and new projects as they appear; help manage sprints and deadlines with the team, and communicate with various stakeholders.
• Fully understand requirements from our clients/shareholders and deliver projects to a high standard.
• Ensure application resilience, performance, and scalability by effectively utilising AWS services and infrastructure.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and DevOps teams to deliver high-impact features.
• Conduct code reviews, promote clean coding standards, and support team members through mentoring and guidance.
• You will be responsible for leading and helping build a new development team in Bangalore.
• Contribute to the overall technology function by enhancing infrastructure, sharing knowledge, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years of robust technical expertise in React, Node.js and JavaScript. 
• Proficiency in microservices and micro frontends is mandatory.
• Should have experience designing and implementing various API patterns (frontend to backend, and backend to backend). Example -  RESTful API
• Experience with relational databases is mandatory, preferably using PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud-native application design.
• Exposure to server-side rendering or JAM stack approaches (Next.js, Vite) is desirable.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, GitHub Actions) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Unit Testing is a plus. 

Special Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
• A pragmatic problem solver who balances engineering purity with business impact. 
• Comfortable leading technical discussions, facilitating decisions, and adapting to evolving priorities with calm and focus.
• Comprehensive knowledge of designing and developing high-quality, efficient software.
• Knowledge of Storybook and component documentation.
• Experience in Fintech projects or with fintech companies will be a major advantage.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive and strategic approach.
