Lead Java Developer

As a Lead Java Developer, you will be responsible to design, build and iterate our product. Taking an active role on both sides to define how the application looks as well as how it feels and responds. Your work will have a direct impact on our business and benefit tens of thousands of customers across the world.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must have experience in the development of data-driven business applications, 
• Tech lead in the Back-end development of various data-driven business web applications (architecture/framework/ graphic)
• You will help define and review the applications architecture and the development guidelines
• You will actively take part in the development, mentor the other team members and review the developments
• Development and maintenance of internal commercial applications.

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• Strong experience in development of complex data-driven business web applications based on Java/Spring and especially SQL/Oracle
• Proficiency in JSON, RESTful APIs
• Must have good knowledge of OO design and understand the interest of abstraction and factorization of the code when it comes to developing several projects on the same ‘base’ (architecture/framework/ graphic)
• Experience in front-end development (i.e Angular 8) Micro Services, Github, Continuous Integration tools is a major plus
• Being familiar with MDM, PIM, PXM functional area and akeneo.com product are clearly a plus

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• 8+ years​ experience in backend development
• Previous work experience in architectural design is a major plus
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Enthusiastic quick learner, eager to learn new technologies, business processes, workflows.
• Experience with enterprise-scale systems is a major plus.
• Mandatory experience working in an Agile environment (SCRUM certification is a plus).
