DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE :

We are looking for a Training and Development (T&D) Manager to help our employees advance their skills and knowledge to enable them to become better performers .

The goal will be to inculcate a culture of learning within the organisation such that everyone has an opportunity to grow. You will have to identify skill gaps among employees and create plans to bridge these gaps so that organisation objectives are met.

You must be passionate about understanding the expectations of people from the company and how to align it with the training programs. We want you to design interactive, fun and innovative programs to engage people. The idea should NOT be JUST to improve their skills for their job role and internal promotions but also to invest in their overall career development.

Ultimately, your training and development programs will be designed keeping in mind the company’s vision and will accelerate employees’ performance leading up to the company's growth.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Help the company meet its objectives by developing & implementing high impact learning & development programs in line with business needs and priorities.
• Establish a strong understanding of current business issues and opportunities and how to design learning and development programs to address it.
• Evaluate individual and organisational development needs
• Sourcing and recommending vendors and other external partners to design, develop, and/or deliver learning solutions if and when applicable.
• Managing the Learning & Development Framework and budget.
• Collating feedback on completed training modules to evaluate and measure results and evaluate its effectiveness and impact
• Defining and leading programs focused on continuous improvement and career development of employees
• Implement various forms of learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training) according to requirement
• Help managers develop their team members through career pathing

      Requirements

• Minimum 8 years experience in the field of training & development
• Minimum 5 years experience in designing corporate Training & Development programs especially for IT based companies
• Exceptional communication & presentation skills.
• Exceptional business acumen to align company needs with employee expectations
• Experience in delivering training both in online and offline mode of a minimum of 6 years
• Experience in formulating effective training calendar and budgeting
• Experience in working across different Learning Management Systems (LMS) softwares and e-learning platforms .
• Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
