As a Node.js developer you will be responsible for Analyzing requirements, Design, develop and build platforms using Node.js back-end. Collaborate with the larger technical team including enterprise architects and other lead developers to review technical approaches and designs.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible across all stages and iterations of software development
• Participate in work with the for solution designs and related code
• Design, develop, verify, test, document, amend and refactor complex programs/scripts
• Proficiency in building, integrating with and supporting Application Program Interfaces (APIs) using a variety of languages, data formats, and data transformations.
• Apply technical expertise to challenging development problems. 

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Experience building enterprise-grade applications using Node.js and expertise in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
• Hands-on experience in Typescript is a must
• Understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) with NoSQL technologies is a plus.
• Should have experience building back-end API's using Node.js and Express Js. 
• Ability to design and implement RESTful APIs to fulfill business requirements and allow for data exposure.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• 3+ years of experience in Node.js development.
• Basic programming language knowledge and understanding of SDLC processes
• Passionate Software Engineer who contributes to define, implement and maintain highly scalable, distributed and resilient software applications.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information, both orally and in writing.
• Should have experience working in an Agile environment (SCRUM certification is a major plus).
