People Operations Specialist

You will be part of the global People services team who will operate effectively to deliver a seamless world-class employee experience. The role presents an exciting opportunity for someone with relevant prior experience to apply their learning to refresh and enhance our existing operations through innovation and automation.  

This role would be a key pillar of the People Services Team, who assists employees and managers with their People support needs- someone who is passionate about finding ways to best support our employee base. Next to your generalist duties, you will be a subject matter expert in one or more of the employee lifecycle programs.

Responsibilities

In this role you will:  

• Document, implement, and work to improve upon people processes, procedures, and programs prevalent in the organization. 
• Ensure the delivery of critical people operations processes like onboarding, reference checks, off-boarding, etc. which form an important part of the employee lifecycle. 
• Take full ownership of employee documentation including contracts, amendments, and all other items pertinent to the employee lifecycle. 
• Accountable for maintaining accurate data including employee records and information changes such as promotions, terminations, and transfers. 
• Maintain people policies and procedures in collaboration with geo people partners and people operations team 

Qualifications

You are a good fit if:  

• Significant experience being part of a centralised People Services / Operations team for a global organisation 
• Understanding of the entire employee lifecycle, with the ability to recommend process-oriented and/or operational solutions to improve the employee experience. 
• Transformation experience would be great 
• A team player who can lead by example, with high accountability for your actions. 
• Drive and passion to bring process improvements through automation leveraging existing systems and platforms 
• Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, changing environment. 
• Ability to multitask and learn processes quickly for more efficient and effective results. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels within the company. 
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills - able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and occasionally ambiguous environment. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish strong relationships at all levels and across functions. 
• Tech Savvy, experience with HRMS / other HR tools is preferred. 
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills - Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook.
