QA Automation Engineer

As a QA, you will be responsible for the right level of test coverage including unit, functional and performance testing in Preqin Pro, our flagship product. 

You will be working with different stakeholders across the business, spot requirements that are open to different interpretations, and clarify ambiguous work scope. Your work will have a direct impact on our business and benefit tens of thousands of customers across the world.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct manual testing when required and building an Engineer solid, reliable automated tests that are considered as reliable as production code.
• Configure CI to provide the maximum team benefit, balancing coverage and confidence at each stage.
• Experience in learning business processes related to internally developed applications and websites and developing detailed test plans and scripts based on those processes
• Familiar with disseminate automation skills and experience to the IT Team and the wider business.
• You will be involved in software/website testing with significant automation testing experience

Key Requirements for this Role

• 4+ years experience in JavaScript for Scripting and UI Automation Script.
• Strong experience in working with Puppeteer, Playwright and Cypress.
• Hands-on experience in API Automation testing using any decent tool like Frisby.
• Experienced in GitHub, Jenkin, TeamCity and Knowledge on Jira.
• Solid Automated testing experience in BDD (Cucumber) for building Automated frameworks
• The ability to build automation frameworks from scratch and being confident to manage all aspects of the framework
• Exposure to/working knowledge of the Agile Methodology (e.g. Kanban, Scrum).
