SAP/ABAP Developer

As a Senior SAP ABAP Developer you will see you undertaking a day-to-day role to develop and test software around our certified SAP solutions suite. All developers are expected to support their peers with code reviews and constructive feedback. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions and also developing new features to our product.
• Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates during the sprint planning for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of the project.
• Develop, code, document and execute unit tests, systems, integration and testing tools for functions of high complexity. 
• Actively participate in and lead the peer review and status meeting to communicate progress and escalate risks and roadblocks
• Mentor and coach junior developers in the team

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• A strong 5+ years of experience in programming in SAP ABAP and OO ABAP
• Should have experience RFCs/BADIs/BAPIs/ABAP OOP/User exits/enhancements
• Hands on experience in Dialog programming and Report writing using ALV and ABAP lists
• Experience with SAP Application development lifecycle.
• Good to have an understanding of SAP Transport and Change management
• Good to have experience in SAP UI5/FIORI/HANA
• Experience in ABAP Unit Test Driven Development (TDD) is an added advantage

• Experience working effectively in a team environment, communicating effectively, resolving issues efficiently
• Ability to work independently with excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations
• Experience in  troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems and map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs
• Should have experience working in an Agile environment (SCRUM certification is a major plus).
