As Senior Azure Specialist, you will be solving problems and delivering business value for our customers through utilizing the latest technologies and will be working alongside the Enterprise Engineering team with strong technical experience to deliver Sigtech’s wider vision.

Role and Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available and scalable Azure cloud data solutions that meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
• Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis.
• Developing and maintaining data lake and data warehouse schematics, layouts, architectures and relational/non-relational databases for data access and Advanced Analytics.

Key Requirements for this Role:

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Specialist with at least 3+ years of experience in Azure.
• Strong knowledge of multi-cloud design patterns like Azure, AWS, GCP. 
• Hands-on experience in VPN, Azure AD and Identity Access Management (IAM).
• Automate the development, testing, and deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitHub Action, Helm).
• Good command over Linux operating systems, containerised environments and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience using Azure-managed identities, KQL, policy and blueprints, CosmosDB.
• Strong knowledge of Python programming language, Terraform using azurerm provider and azuread.
• Experience in the administration of JupyterHub or similar tools is desirable.
• On-call, disaster recovery experience and troubleshooting distributed systems are desirable.
• Good to have experience in finance, fintech start-ups and/or scale-ups.
• Problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit.
• Outstanding communication skills, with an ability to learn fast.
