Senior Data Analytics Engineer

As a Data Analytics Engineer, You will be solving problems and delivering business value for our customers through utilising the latest technologies and will be working with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate, transform, process and store data from various sources to support business operations and decision-making.
• End-to-end management of dashboard creation process.
• Identifying and implementing access to new data structures as required by the business.
• Implementing automated measures to ensure data quality issues are prevented.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
• Ensure data security and privacy in compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure data quality and maintain best practices within the Data team.

Key Requirements for this Role

• A minimum of 4+ years experience in data engineering or technical analytics.
• Experience with data modelling, data visualisation, and BI tools (e.g. PowerBI) is desirable.
• A minimum experience of 3 + years in SQL (Python is a plus but not required).
• A minimum experience of 3 + years with ETL  tools (Preferably DBT and Big Query). 
• A minimum experience of 3 + years with cloud data platforms such as GCP (Preferable), AWS or Azure.
• Experience with e-commerce data, including transactional data, customer data, and web analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Self-motivated individual who possesses excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills in the English language.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
