As a Senior Data Operations Specialist, you will lead the team in Bangalore and will be working alongside the data engineering team in London to ensure that proper monitoring, alerting, and tracking of data pipelines are in place. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, monitor, document, and disclose any potential data quality issues in the collection, storage, processing, or use of data.
• Monitor data pipelines within Our Partner’s data lake.
• Perform data validation checks for historical and live financial data using Our Partner’s data validation engine.
• Should be able to write clear and simple instructions to document data operation and monitoring solutions.
• Create and codify data quality criteria using Our Partner's data verification engine.

Key Requirements for this Role

• 4+ years experience in a data quality, systems analyst, or data focused role.
• Financial data experience (e.g. futures, single stocks, bonds, fx, indices) is a must.
• Experience in developing and following policies and procedures relating to data and quality improvement.
• Prior experience in handling a team is highly desirable.
• Low code programming experience, e.g. basic python is a major plus.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Good organizational skills with ability to work and guide the team.
• Able to operate within a continuously evolving and competitive business environment by learning and adopting new technologies.
