Senior DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you will ensure seamless integration between development and operations, ensuring efficient software delivery and robust infrastructure. You will be responsible for automating processes, implementing continuous integration/deployment pipelines, and optimising system performance, contributing to LinkLabs' agile development and reliable, scalable IoT solutions.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Strengthen our application and environment security, applying standards and best practices and providing tooling to make development workflows more secure.
• Create, maintain, and iterate on our CI/CD processes for new and existing services.
• Increase the sophistication of our alerting and escalation mechanisms.
• Stay updated with modern technologies and trends and advocate for their inclusion within products when it makes sense.
• Help increase system performance with a focus on high availability and scalability.
• Propose, scope, design, and implement various infrastructure architectures.
• Work collaboratively with multiple agile teams to help deliver end-to-end products and features, seeing them through from conception to delivery.
• Help define, document, and evolve high engineering standards and best practices across multiple areas.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps / System Engineer.
• 3+ years of experience with containers - Kubernetes.
• 3+ years of experience working with Cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
• Strong experience working with automation (ProdOps, SecOps etc).
• Experience with general network and systems engineering.
• Experience working on Gitlab.
• Understanding of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, monitoring servers, databases and Kubernetes clusters).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
