Senior Frontend Developer

Our Partner is a worldwide leader in training, assistance and software adoption for Fortune 500 companies. Our patented technology is trusted by 15 of the top 20 banks, major international organizations and some of the largest hospital networks in the world. 

We are in the process of building the new generation of our product suite with a much more scalable architecture, state of the art web technologies and AI/Machine learning functionalities.

As a Senior Front-end Developer, you will participate in delivering the vision for “Train” by focusing on making the user experience truly exceptional. Train helps organizations with the digital adoption of these important tools and eliminates the need for IT to create and maintain sandbox environments.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the product manager to deliver solutions that are aligned with the strategy
• Develop, document, and improve front-end solutions.
• Write code that follows a high-quality standard (tested, scalable, safe)
• Improve the foundations of the front-end to create an on-brand interface

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• 5+ years of experience in frontend web application development in an AGILE environment.
• Strong knowledge and experience working with NextJs (React framework)
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.
• Knowledge of CSS pre-processors such as LESS and SASS.
• Should have experience working with API Gateways
• Exposure in Python (Django), Docker, Kubernetes, Redis is a major plus as our backend  is built in Python
• Experience working with MySQL databases is a must. 
• Experience in the development of complex web applications or SaaS products using a modern framework for UI development (React, Angular, Ember) required.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Ability to work and communicate clearly and efficiently with team members, with a strong English communication both written and spoken
• B.S Degree in Computer Science
• Experience with enterprise-scale systems is a major plus.
