Senior Frontend Developer

The Senior Frontend Developer will be responsible to design, build and iterate on the customer-facing interfaces of our flagship product. You will work closely with our UI/UX team and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides to define how the application looks as well as how it feels and responds. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the product manager to deliver solutions that are aligned with the strategy
• Develop, document, and improve front-end solutions.
• Write code that follows a high-quality standard (tested, scalable, safe)
• Improve the foundations of the front-end to create an on-brand interface
• Establish processes and best practices around front-end development standards.

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• 5+ years experience developing Web Applications using component-based JS frameworks like Angular/ React/ Vue, JavaScript/ TypeScript, HTML and CSS
• Strong knowledge and experience working with React framework is an added advantage
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience working with state management libraries like NgRx/ Redux/ VueX
• Knowledge of CSS pre-processors such as LESS and SASS.
• Exposure to cloud environments like AWS/ Azure/ GCP is an added advantage
• Exposure to unit testing is a major plus
• Should have experience working with API Gateways
• Exposure in Python (Django), Docker, Kubernetes, Redis is a major plus as our backend  is built in Python

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• 5+ years​ experience in frontend development
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Experience with enterprise-scale systems is a major plus.
• Mandatory experience working in an Agile environment (SCRUM certification a major plus). 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment focusing on multiple competing priorities and solving challenging problems
