Senior Frontend Developer

Our Partner is a technology-led financial services firm that supports private equity investors. Our Partner’s Engineering team drives our technology development and delivers cutting edge and innovative solutions to both our clients and internal teams. 

As an established Fintech setting up operations in Bangalore, we are seeking creative and proactive engineers to help us define the future of our technology. 

As a Senior Frontend Developer you will be responsible for designing, building and iterating on the customer-facing interfaces of Our Partner’s flagship product. You will work closely with different teams and take an active role on both sides to define how the application looks as well as how it feels and responds.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support all aspects of the SDLC (requirements gathering, development,  testing, deployment, support), as a part of Agile delivery.
• Write automated tests via TDD to foster effective, reusable, and flexible code.
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant  applications.
• Conduct timely code reviews.
• Establish processes and best practices around front-end development standards.

Key Requirements for this Role:

• 5+ years experience in frontend web application development in an AGILE environment.
• Minimum of 3  years experience with React and modern ES6+ to build web applications.
• Strong Experience in HTML5, CSS, Javascript is mandatory.
• Experience in React, Redux,  Thunk / Saga , React Hooks is a mandate.
• Working knowledge in Typescript,REST API consumption is highly desirable..
• Ability to develop unit test cases using Jest and Enzyme / React Testing Library  is mandatory. 
• Experience with developing responsive web designs using any libraries like Bootstrap, Reactstrap is highly desirable.
• Experience working with any cloud platform (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)  will be considered a plus. 
• Ability to work and communicate clearly and efficiently with team members, with strong English communication both written and spoken.
• Attitude to learn and implement new technologies and proactiveness among peers to get the work done.
• Experience with enterprise-scale systems and the fintech domain is a major plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree.
• A self-starter with the ability to work and finish the tasks independently.
