This includes adventure travel, safaris, private jet and polar expeditions, tailor-made luxury holidays, yacht and riverboat charter holidays, educational and sporting-based school trips, corporate hospitality and sporting event fan travel.

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer responsible for designing and implementing websites for companies using the WordPress creation tool. The developer should be responsible for the implementation of themes and plugins. The goal is to create attractive and user-friendly websites according to client specifications.

We are looking for a successful Front-end developer, you should have in-depth knowledge in WordPress, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills. Ultimately, a top-class WordPress developer can create attractive, user-friendly websites that perfectly meet the design and functionality specifications of the client.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Writing clean, well-documented and well-tested code with strong adherence to modern ES6 standards and best coding practices. 
• Inculcate best practices to build clean and reusable code for scaling in the future and enhance the existing codebase.
• Develop the most effective technical solutions in WordPress themes and plugins to meet business requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements.
• Work closely with the architect, developers and testers to ship new components and features
• Work closely with different teams and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:

• Should have excellent knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript ES6+ HTML5, and jQuery.
• Experience with Webpack, React, SCSS, Custom Properties, Web Components. 
• Working experience in WordPress Theme Development using PHP is a plus
• Knowledge of WordPress Gutenberg Block Development using React is added advantage. 
• Optimization of Core Web, SEO, and structured data 
• Add on advantage, if Contributed to WordPress or any Open Source project 
• Good to have experience with a framework like Tailwind CSS, Assistive Technologies / Accessibility, and with HTML Email Development

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

• 5+ years experience in Frontend Development
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Experience with code versioning tools
• Experience building enterprise-grade web applications in an AGILE environment. 
• Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
