Senior Frontend Engineer

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll own the frontend experience for Compsurance across web and mobile, building responsive, performant, and intuitive interfaces using React and React Native.
This role requires close collaboration with backend, design, and product teams to create a unified user experience.

Roles And Responsibilities:

• Develop frontend features using ReactJS (TypeScript) for the web and React Native for mobile applications.
• Build and maintain shared UI components and design systems based on Figma mockups.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and ensure end-to-end data flow consistency.
• Optimise performance, accessibility, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Implement client-side authentication flows, state management (Redux / Recoil), and routing.
• Collaborate on testing and QA to ensure stable releases.
• Contribute to UX improvements and new feature concepts.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in building ReactJS-based applications and managing them
• 2+ years of specific experience in React Native Mobile Application development
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+) is mandatory
• Prior experience in using Redux / Context API, Hooks, and component-based architecture is mandatory
• Prior experience with REST APIs, JSON, and secure data handling
• Prior experience using CI/CD for frontend deployment (Netlify / AWS Amplify / CloudFront)
• Familiarity with Git-based workflow and collaboration experience
• Prior experience in the Insurance or Financial services domain is desirable
• Understanding of frontend security (best practices, data validation, XSS prevention) and exposure to UX design tools (Figma / Sketch) is desirable
• Excellent communication skills and a go-getter attitude.
