As a Senior Manager, you will be part of the People & Culture Team! You will lead our People Operations and Engineer Happiness initiatives. Your role involves crafting, implementing, and upholding policies and processes that resonate with our values. You’ll be responsible for managing a team of highly dedicated and talented CHOs. You'll manage multiple engineering teams, ensuring their well-being and satisfaction. Additionally, you'll drive efforts to enhance the effectiveness and consistency of our People function. This entails establishing and upholding organizational policies, while also offering strategic counsel to senior leadership.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will be the key point of contact for all the stakeholders and will be responsible for CHOs deliverables.
- You will be responsible to evaluate and enhance the employee life cycle management process and system to offer a greater level of employee experience and benchmarking with best of the industry practices.
- Influence key decisions and offer strategic guidance that profoundly affects both the Engineering team and the stakeholders.
- Align with organizational processes, systems, and culture with key business priorities, design optimal organizational structures, and cultural needs, and drive change management.
- Design and implementation of reliable collection of data from various sources and systems, assist senior management in data driven decisions.
- Work with cross-functional teams in determining approaches to matters of recruitment, compensation, HR operations, and other HR functions works with the stakeholders across business units with a view of further driving the people management agenda to support the achievement of the business goals.
- Independently manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
- Design and implement a people plan for the business and its various departments taking into account the wider HR agenda.
- Develop strategies for people management, succession planning, and talent management for key roles and stakeholders.
- Actively benchmark all HR activities and suggest suitable initiatives based on industry trends.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Proven HR experience with 12 - 14 years of overall experience with at least 6 years of experience in people management.
- Should have extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing HR budgets.
- Should have prior experience implementing and calibrating HR policies to meet business needs.
- Proven People Leadership & Strategic Vision.
- Should have extensive experience managing stakeholders across geographies.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that business needs are being met
- Should have prior experience and knowledge of HRIS systems (HRIS such as Keka, GreyTip, SAP, Rewards and Wellness platforms)
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, coaching, interpersonal, and verbal, and written communication skills are a MUST.
- Exceptional leadership, time, task, and resource management skills.
- Must have team management experience preferably engineering teams.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in HR is a huge advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of HR Policies and Processes and strong reporting knowledge is a huge plus.
- Excellent presentation, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skill.
- A big advantage if you have worked in a company that is a GPTW, ISO certified.
- Ability to work and communicate clearly and efficiently with cross-functional teams and working with an international team is an added advantage.
- Passion for mentoring and managing a team toward excellence.
- Good understanding of the IT Services industry and its nuances.
