We are developing an earth stock exchange platform for the circular economy of construction. Based on both a mobile and web application, we enable our users to better prepare, operate and monitor the exchange of reusable land between construction sites.

Your Mission

As a Senior PHP Developer, you will be in charge of developing the PHP code of our key products based on Symfony/Laravel.

• You will be working on a large scale in-house project: a complete rebuild of our existing platform. You will be involved in the architectural decisions and core development, along with our CTO.
• You will leverage your expertise in core PHP for the first time but you are able to learn fast in order to use new technologies (NodeJS, Go) for future projects at Our Partner.
• We handle significant volumes of data. You have a very sharp knowledge of databases and MySQL language: writing smart queries, optimizing them, playing with indexes but also knowledge of NoSQL databases for the future of Our Partner
• You will build REST APIs to integrate our products with mobile apps and third parties.
• You will use jQuery for the interaction between your code and the frontend of our products, in collaboration with our Frontend Developer.
• If you’re up for it, you will be involved in the administration of our Linux servers hosted on Amazon Web Services.
• We are deeply versed in reusability (so you never have to reinvent the wheel!). You will use open-source plugins and build reusable components.

Your Profile

• You must have completed successful projects based on Symfony 3.4+ and in Laravel.
• Primary skills: PHP, Object Oriented programming, MySQL and NoSQL database basics knowledge.
• Should have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Secondary skills: understanding of using and building APIs.
• Bonus point if you have knowledge of server administration in a Linux environment.
• Experience in AWS is a plus
• You are highly motivated, detail-oriented and autonomous. You are well-versed in the test & learn the culture.
