Senior Planning and Data Quality Specialist

As a Senior Planning and Data Quality Specialist, you will have a strong background in data quality management, project planning, and testing processes. You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our data through meticulous planning, execution, and communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Test Documentation: Prepare clear end-to-end test documentation and ensure test cases meet project goals.
• Project Management: Manage project timelines using tools like Jira, Monday.com, and Gantt charts, coordinating with team members for timely delivery.
• Data Entry and Testing: Plan and assist with accurate data entry and testing in non-production systems to maintain data quality.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project updates and data quality issues with stakeholders, acting as the main contact point.
• Test Plans and Success Metrics: Write detailed test plans and collaborate with stakeholders to define success metrics that align with business objectives.
• Quality Monitoring & Improvement: Provide guidance on automated quality monitoring and recommend improvements for data quality management.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Data quality management, project planning, and testing, especially in tech services.
• Experience in writing test plans and executing strategies for BI and Data Engineering projects.
• Strong experience in project management tools like Confluence, Jira, Monday.com, and Gantt charts.
• Strong understanding of data entry processes and non-production source systems.
• Familiarity with data quality monitoring and reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather insights from stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior members.

Good to Have:

• Relevant certifications in project management (PMP, Agile) or data quality (CDMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.
