Senior Python Developer

Our Partner is a technology-led financial services firm that supports private equity investors. Our Partner’s Engineering team drives our technology development and delivers cutting edge and innovative solutions to both our clients and internal teams. 

As an established Fintech with established operations in Bangalore, we are seeking creative and proactive engineers to help us define the future of our technology. 

The Senior Python Developer you will get the opportunity to work on the most important products on Our Partner’s roadmap. You will gain experience and training on AWS and Automation/Machine Learning products. Your core responsibility will be to understand the presentation of data in reports and improve existing algorithms or build new ones to increase the accuracy of information identified from reports. You will also help build the next phases of the application

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Building new and improving existing algorithms to increase the accuracy of data identification from unstructured pdf documents.
• Write automated tests via TDD to foster effective, reusable, and flexible code.
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Build RESTful APIs and conduct timely code reviews.
• Support all aspects of the SDLC (requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, support).
• Be a team player: contribute to our culture, invent new ways to address industry needs, criticize constructively, and help create a world-class engineering organization.

Key Requirements for this Role:

• 5+ years of strong experience in the Python
• Strong experience in Web Services and APIs in python using the framework Fast API. 
• Experience working in Python web libraries like Panda or NumPy is a plus. 
• Should have experience in Atlassian tools stack: Jira / Confluence / Crucible / Bamboo
• Should have experience in deployment tool Docker and in Version control tool Git. 
• A proponent of continuous integration, unit testing, jira and automation testing will be an added advantage. 
• Any experience in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) is an added advantage
• Experience working with AWS or any cloud environment is a plus. 
• Ability to work and communicate clearly and efficiently with team members, with a strong command of English both written and spoken
• Experience in working within a Scrum/Agile environment is a major plus and functional knowledge in Finance/Stock Market domain will be an added advantage.
