Senior QA

Today, our company is the global number one party plan company, selling candles and home décor in Europe, North America, and Australia. 

As a Senior Quality Analyst, you are responsible for executing the manual and automation testing, in collaboration with Software Developers. You will be part of an international team with coworkers in both USA and Bangalore, shouldering you and helping you take on the challenges of providing world-class solutions to our customers.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To support the development, implementation and maintenance of efficient and effective test plans.
• Supports the creation and maintenance of robust automation tests that integrate with our application and infrastructure architecture.
• Supports the coordination of manual and automated regression testing.
• Reports and manages defects through to successful resolution and Provides timely status reports on testing and findings to Team Leaders.
• Carries out compatibility assurance checks as part of the software change & release process.

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• Experience in gathering business requirements and functional specifications reviews
• 5+ years of experience in creating and executing SQA test plans and test scenarios, including functional testing, integration testing and regression testing.
• Experience reporting issues/bugs in a bug tracking tool similar to JIRA.
• Experience creating, maintaining and running automated testing tool (ex: Selenium, Neoload).
• Experience in data analysis as part of the SQA testing cycle
• Should have experience in testing a web application.
• Should have Industry knowledge in eCommerce and web, B2B and B2C.
• Experience with Oracle query tools to analyze SQA test results  

 SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Ability to work and communicate clearly and efficiently with team members, with a strong English communication both written and spoken
• B.S Degree in Computer Science
