Senior QA Automation

Our Partner is a specialist division of a multi-award-winning global financial services group established in 1996, with over 1,300 employees in over 33 offices worldwide, providing payroll and tax services to organizations and individuals in over 100 countries every day. Our product and software innovation centre is based in Varna Bulgaria and is home to the team leading the future of our technology platform.

This is a major opportunity for any Test Engineer who will support the performance of testing across various platforms and systems to improve the quality of the products delivered by the department. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with management and development to establish timelines and agree on a QA test strategy.
• Prepare, develop and monitor automation tests.
• Evaluate and give feedback about the structure of the existing testing framework
• Find and raise issues during the execution of the tests. 
• Ensure that validated deliverables meet business requirements.
• Prioritize and coordinate testing activities. 
• Log defects and work with developers to investigate, troubleshoot and verify defect fixes.
• Suggest new automation tools and/or testing methodologies
• Work closely with the development teams, manual QAs, Product Owners and PMs

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Strong experience in quality management systems and processes in an agile environment.
• Knowledge and experience in technical and functional aspects of web applications testing
• Should have experience with UI automation testing tool like Selenium using C#
• Good understanding of the OOPS concept. 
• Experience working with tools for API and performance testing like Postman and JMeter 
• Experience with C# language is mandatory
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, documenting and reporting.
• Naturally inquisitive and passionate about exploratory testing, with strong attention to details. 
• Ability to establish processes and best practices around QA standards.
• Experience in testing mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms is an advantage.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is an advantage.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• 1+ years of experience with integration testing and libraries like Newtonsoft and RestSharp
• Basic programming language knowledge and understanding of SDLC processes, QA methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge and experience in Automation testing is a big advantage.
• Good written and spoken English
