Senior React Native Developer

Prettylittlething’s App Development team drives our mobile application development and delivers cutting edge and innovative shopping experiences to our customers across the globe. 

As an established global fashion retailer, setting up operations in Bangalore, we are seeking creative and proactive engineers to help us define the future of our technology. 

The Senior React Native Developer will be responsible for designing, building and iterating on the customer-facing interfaces of Prettylittlething apps. As a part of the Application Development team, you will take an active role to define how the application looks as well as how it feels and responds, improve performance and stability of our systems and develop software engineering best practice across the organisation.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support all aspects of the SDLC (requirements gathering, development,  testing, deployment, support).
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Write unit/functional/end2end tests with adequate coverage, independently.
• Write clean idiomatic code adhering to industry recognised coding standards and conduct timely code reviews.
• Proactively improve components, modules, services, systems, and codebases.
• Establish processes and best practices around front-end development standards.

Key Requirements for this Role:

• 5+ years overall experience with a minimum of 3+ years of specific experience in React Native Mobile Application development.
• Strong experience in using Redux with Thunk for state management activities. Experience with Redux-Saga is a plus.
• Strong experience in Javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSS is mandatory. 
• Strong experience in writing unit test cases with Jest and React-native testing libraries for the features developed is mandatory.
• Profound knowledge of working with GitHub like SCM systems is mandatory.
• Ability to apply established Design Patterns, SOLID principles and techniques is mandatory.
• Detailed knowledge of the core libraries or API’s and troubleshooting the same for their primary language.
• Hands-on experience in Firebase, Fastlane is a major plus. 
• Experience in iOS and Android build configuration and modules are good to have.

• Passionate Software Engineer who contributes to define, implement and maintain highly scalable, distributed and resilient software applications.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information, both orally and in writing.
• Should have experience working in an Agile environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree.
