Team leader - Data Control

As a Data Controls Lead, you will be responsible for managing a quality assurance team dedicated to ensuring Our Partner’s data coverage of the alternative assets industry is accurate, comprehensive, relevant and up to date. You will report directly to the SVP, Global Head of Data Quality & Excellence based in London, and work in close collaboration with a global team of senior data owners and key stakeholders

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead a team and focus on ensuring our data quality meets and exceeds customer expectations at all times and enhance our data offering
• Develop, implement and maintain quality control and governance processes to ensure Our Partner’s data is accurate, comprehensive, relevant and up to date.
• Leverage technology and tools to identify, analyze and report data quality issues as well as recommend and implement remediation plans.
• Partner with global stakeholders across various business units, including senior management, to further develop data quality and controls processes.

Key Requirements for this Role

• 2+ years of team leader experience in a similar domain or at a financial data business.
• Bachelors’ Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Engineering
• Previous experience in implementing and maintaining data quality techniques, requirements and processes.
• Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI/Qlik/Tableau.
• Experience in using Microsoft tools such as Excel, SharePoint, and Office 365.
• Experience with MS Power Automate/VBA/Python/SQL.
• Experience in managing various stakeholders operating within a global team.
• Strong interest or understanding of the alternative assets industry  or financial markets
• Fluent in English with excellent written and communication skills.
